SUMMARY:HSM Winter Retreat 2022
DESCRIPTION:High School students are invited to join us for a weekend trip to the local mountains\, where we will focus on Jesus’ teaching about being one with the Father and one with each other in John 17. The retreat will take place in Frazier Park where we have a spacious cabin estate that includes ample sleeping room\, and great recreational amenities.  The amenities include a heated pool\, sauna\, jacuzzi\, basketball court\, pool table\, ping pong table\, outdoor seating and dining\, hiking trails\, the possibility of snow\, and more!  On top of all of this\, we will take off to Six Flags Magic Mountain for a good part of our Saturday. \n\n\n

SUMMARY:Women's Book Study - None Like Him
DESCRIPTION:Pacific Hills Calvary Chapel will host a book study that will explore the attributes of God. This study is a casual meet-up of women who desire to deepen their knowledge of God\, and fellowship with other women. There will be a short lecture\, small group discussion\, and prayer. This is an intimate and encouraging study that will start this fall and meet only twice per month\, until we complete the book (None Like Him\, by Jen Wilkins). There will be a short break during the holidays. The cost is $10. DESCRIPTION:This event is now at capacity.\nFeel free to sign up for our next outreach here!\nJoin us in the early morning as we serve at the OC Rescue Mission on Friday\, January 28! Orange County Rescue Mission has a number of programs through which they serve the Least\, the Last\, and the Lost. The primary focus of each program is to share the love of Jesus Christ with each man\, woman\, and child who comes to them for a hand up out of homelessness. \nWe will be serving early in the morning at OC Rescue from 5:30am-8:00am. We will be meeting at OC Rescue Mission at 5:00am. SUMMARY:OC Rescue Mission Outreach
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we serve at the OC Rescue Mission on Friday\, December 17th! Orange County Rescue Mission has a number of programs through which they serve the Least\, the Last\, and the Lost. The primary focus of each program is to share the love of Jesus Christ with each man\, woman\, and child who comes to them for a hand up out of homelessness. \nWill be serving at OC Rescue from 2pm-4pm. We will be meeting at OC Rescue Mission at 1:30pm. Some of us will be serving in their kitchen serving food to their shelter residents and others will be serving in their clothing room. Please be flexible and willing to serve wherever needed! \nCarpooling is encouraged as OC Rescue’s parking is limited. SUMMARY:Friendship Shelter Outreach
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, October 24th at the church to prepare meals for the Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach! The Friendship Shelter is residential shelter for homeless adults and works with its residents to secure housing and employment or other income. This is an amazing opportunity for individuals or the whole family to serve our community. We will meet at the church at 3:30pm to begin dinner prep. We will be assembling sandwich meals for the residents of the shelter. Pastor Nate will then deliver the meals to the shelter to be distributed that night. The meal prep time will last approximately an hour and a half. \nTo sign up\, please email Pastor Nate (nate@ccpacifichills.org) or call him at the church at (949) 362-7475 Ext. 27. Read below for additional details: \n\nTASKS: We will be preparing meals for approximately 25 residents of the Friendship shelter. Duties will be assigned the day of the event. Tasks could include things like slicing tomatoes\, putting sandwiches together or assembling the meal boxes. \nAGE: Children seven years of age or older are welcome to serve alongside their parents. \nWHAT TO WEAR: It is best to be prepared with closed-toe shoes appropriate for standing for long periods and clothing that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty. Breaks are available if needed. \nFOOD: All food that we will be preparing and serving will be provided by Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills.
