DESCRIPTION:Get involved in the Christmas season this year in a truly impactful way through Operation Christmas Child! OCC’s mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys\, hygiene items\, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship each shoebox outside the United States to children affected by war\, poverty\, natural disaster\, famine\, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S. It’s an incredible thing to be a part of! \nLike every year\, we’ll be distributing and collecting packed shoeboxes to be used in OCC’s mission. It’s a fun thing to do with friends or family. You could even host a shoebox packing night at your house! DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, September 29th to make and serve food at the Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach! The Friendship Shelter is residential shelter for homeless adults and works with its residents to secure housing and employment or other income. This is an amazing opportunity for individuals or the whole family to serve our community. We will meet at the shelter at 5:00pm to begin dinner prep. There is a parking lot directly adjacent to the shelter that you can park in. The address is below as well as brief directions from Pacific Coast Highway. The outreach will last two to three hours roughly.  \nAddress: 1335 S Coast Hwy\, Laguna Beach\, CA 92651 \nDirections: \n\nTurn onto Mountain Rd. from Pacific Coast Highway\nTurn right onto Gaviota Dr.\nTurn right into the parking lot next to the two-story\, white building (which is the Friendship Shelter)\n\nTo sign up\, please email Pastor Nate (nate@ccpacifichills.org) or call him at the church at (949) 362-7475 Ext. 27. Read below for additional details: \n\nTASKS: We will be preparing food for approximately 25 residents of the Friendship shelter. Duties will be assigned the day of the event. Tasks could include things like cooking meat\, chopping various vegetables\, setting up the food bar\, or simply talking to and hanging out with the residents. \nAGE: Children seven years of age or older are welcome to serve alongside their parents at the shelter. You must know where your children are at all times during our visit. Please keep in mind that there are different residents every time we visit and that we can’t guarantee any level of safety around said residents.  \nWHAT TO WEAR: It is best to be prepared with closed-toe shoes appropriate for standing for long periods and clothing that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty. Breaks are available if needed. \nFOOD: All food that we will be preparing and serving will be provided by Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills. After the food has been prepared and all shelter residents have been served dinner\, Pacific Hills volunteers may eat if they would like to. \nPLEASE NOTE: Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills is not responsible for the damage or loss of personal items including\, but not limited to purses\, wallets\, jewelry\, cell phones and vehicles.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, July 14th to make and serve food at the Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach! The Friendship Shelter is residential shelter for homeless adults and works with its residents to secure housing and employment or other income. This is an amazing opportunity for individuals or the whole family to serve our community. We will meet at the shelter at 5:00pm to begin dinner prep. There is a parking lot directly adjacent to the shelter that you can park in. The address is below as well as brief directions from Pacific Coast Highway. The outreach will last two to three hours roughly.  \nAddress: 1335 S Coast Hwy\, Laguna Beach\, CA 92651 \nDirections: \n\nTurn onto Mountain Rd. from Pacific Coast Highway\nTurn right onto Gaviota Dr.\nTurn right into the parking lot next to the two-story\, white building (which is the Friendship Shelter)\n\nTo sign up\, please email Pastor Nate (nate@ccpacifichills.org) or call him at the church at (949) 362-7475 Ext. 27. Read below for additional details: \n\nTASKS: We will be preparing food for approximately 25 residents of the Friendship shelter. Duties will be assigned the day of the event. Tasks could include things like cooking meat\, chopping various vegetables\, setting up the food bar\, or simply talking to and hanging out with the residents. \nAGE: Children seven years of age or older are welcome to serve alongside their parents at the shelter. You must know where your children are at all times during our visit. Please keep in mind that there are different residents every time we visit and that we can’t guarantee any level of safety around said residents.  \nWHAT TO WEAR: It is best to be prepared with closed-toe shoes appropriate for standing for long periods and clothing that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty. Breaks are available if needed. \nFOOD: All food that we will be preparing and serving will be provided by Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills. After the food has been prepared and all shelter residents have been served dinner\, Pacific Hills volunteers may eat if they would like to. \nPLEASE NOTE: Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills is not responsible for the damage or loss of personal items including\, but not limited to purses\, wallets\, jewelry\, cell phones and vehicles.

SUMMARY:2019 High School Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Take sail with us to a land of adventure\, a land of sunshine and endless summer\, and a land of seclusion and separation to hear God in your life. So\, mark your calendars and join us July 14 – July 18 for the adventure of a lifetime! The camp will feature experienced youth speakers\, an awesome worship band\, and small group sessions where we integrate lessons into our lives. On top of all of this\, there will be plenty of time for recreational adventures\, memories with friends\, bonfires in the evenings\, unforgettable worship\, amazing food\, a hike to Avalon\, stand up paddle boards\, snorkeling\, fishing\, tubing behind a boat\, 18 square in the air\, all new disc golf course and The Water Totter [a teeter totter in the ocean]\, paintball and “Escape The Room”\, and special time to share with counselors and pastors. \n\n\n\nThe Cost:\nThe total expense for the camp is $350. This includes the charter bus transportation\, a ticket aboard the Catalina Express Boat\, all meals\, 5 days and 4 nights at camp\, and all recreational activities at the camp. \nThere will be scholarship opportunities available funded by the money raised through student and parent fundraiser participation. The bake sale fundraiser will be held on July 15th. Please plan to join!\nA $150 deposit reserves your spot and is due no later than June 24th as spots are limited and can not be guaranteed after that.  \nThe Facilities:\nLocated in a quiet\, secluded cove on Santa Catalina Island\, Campus by the Sea invites its guests to step away from busyness and experience God’s rest. SUMMARY:Voyage TRIPLE Header Summer Kickoff Event
DESCRIPTION:At Voyage\, we love going fast.  We also love to help others.  And\, boy do we love to watch a good movie with friends.  So why have an event where you do just one of them?  Well\, we thought that since summer has begun\, we need to kick things off right with our annual “Voyage TRIPLE Header Summer Kickoff Event”.  That’s right\, all three of those amazing things are going down on Saturday\, June 29\, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.  We will be meeting at the church to make lunches for homeless\, we will also watch a movie as we do this\, then we will deliver our lunches to a homeless shelter in Laguna Beach\, hang out and eat our lunches at the beach\, then we are off to K1 Speed Racing for an afternoon of racing and fun! \nThis Voyage event costs $30 and includes transportation\, K1 Speed\, and lunch and a movie at the church.  Sign up in the Voyage Room (Room 8) on the deck or by emailing Pastor Justin here. \n
