DESCRIPTION:Be a part of our annual Backpack Outreach this Christmas season! On Sunday\, November 25th\, pick up a backpack from the lobby\, fill it with some much needed items for the men of the Salvation Army Hospitality House and return it to the church by Sunday\, December 9th. Then join us on Saturday\, December 15th to deliver all the filled backpacks to the Hospitality House. We will be meeting at and leaving from the church at 3:00pm and carpooling to the location. After delivering the backpacks to the Hospitality House and arriving back at the church\, this event should go no later than 6:00pm. SUMMARY:Salvation Army Men's Clothing Drive
DESCRIPTION:Alongside the Salvation Army Hospitality House Backpack Outreach\, we are also collecting men’s clothing for this same facility. The Hospitality House is a year-round emergency shelter for men. They provide many vital services necessary to get these men back on their feet including daily meals and employment assistance. They could really use our help in collecting clothing for the men and it costs you nothing! All it takes is going through your closets at home and bringing any men’s clothing you would be willing to part with to church. \nMost of the time\, we have clothing in our closets we never wear or forgot we even had. This clothing could go to really good use by these men. Any and all men’s clothing is wanted\, but Salvation Army has notified us that they are most in need of men’s pants\, specifically sizes 34 – 40. We will be delivering the donated clothing along with the backpacks on Saturday\, December 15th. \nIf you have clothing you would like to donate\, please see Pastor Nate on Sunday and he can assist you. DESCRIPTION:Join us on the first Sunday of each month to make and serve food at the Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach.  The Friendship Shelter is an overnight shelter for homeless adults. They provide an environment for their residents to regain self-sufficiency.This is an amazing opportunity for individuals or the whole family to serve our community. We will meet at the church at 4:00 PM and we will carpool to the shelter. The outreach lasts two to three hours.  To sign up email Pastor Nate here\, or call him at the church at 949-362-7475.  After signing up\, Pastor Nate will contact each volunteer prior to the event to coordinate the preparations for the meal.

DESCRIPTION:At Voyage\, we constantly remind Jr. High students that God wants to use them to reach others with the Good News about Jesus Christ.  With this emphasis\, we have a special outreach event planned called OctoBash!  We are encouraging all of our students to join us\, and to invite their friends\, teammates\, neighbors\, and any other 6-8th grade students to a night of wild fun and outreach.  OctoBash is a costume party at the church\, that will feature a Christian punk band\, laser tag in the sanctuary\, the “wrecking ball”\, a crazy obstacle course\, a game truck\, pizza\, and more!  The event culminates with a message sharing the hope of Jesus with the students.  The cost for this event is completely FREE\, so students can invite their friends to have fun and hear the Gospel!  It will take place on Saturday\, October 27\, from 5:00-9:00 PM.  Please sign up in Room 8.
