SUMMARY:OC Rescue Mission | Early Morning Outreach
DESCRIPTION:Join us in the early morning as we serve at the OC Rescue Mission on April 23!   \nOrange County Rescue Mission has a number of programs through which they serve the Least\, the Last\, and the Lost. The primary focus of each program is to share the love of Jesus Christ with each man\, woman\, and child who comes to them for a hand up out of homelessness. \nWe will be serving early in the morning at OC Rescue from 5:30am-8:30am. We will be meeting at OC Rescue Mission at 5:20am. We will be serving in their kitchen prepping breakfast and then serving that breakfast to their shelter residents. \nCarpooling is encouraged as OC Rescue’s parking is limited. \n\nDate & Time\nApril 23 \n(Early Morning)\nMeeting at OC Rescue Mission: 5:20am\nVolunteer Window: 5:30am – 8:30am \n\n\nLocation\nOne Hope Drive\nTustin\, CA 92782 \n\nTo sign up\, please email Curtis here.\nSee below for helpful information before joining us in volunteering!\n  \n\n  \n\nServing at the OC Rescue Mission:\n \nKitchen safety video:\n \n\n\nSafety & Attire:\n\nKeep all personal items (i.e.\, bags\, backpacks\, etc.) at home\, work\, or in your cars.\nGood personal hygiene is required (i.e. clean clothing\, no long/artificial fingernails\, open\ncuts/wounds).\nIf you have been sick within the last 24 hours\, you will not be permitted to work around\nfood\, utensils\, and kitchen equipment.\nNo open-toed shoes (i.e. flip-flops\, slippers\, sandals\, high-heels\, wedges\, pumps\, platforms).\nSlip-resistant\, closed-toe shoes or athletic/walking shoes are required.\nNo low-cut or sleeveless shirts (i.e. halters\, mid-drift/cropped\, tank tops).\nNo shorts\, dresses\, or skirts.\nKitchen clothing will be provided upon request (i.e. shirt\, apron).\nNo dangling or long jewelry (i.e. earrings\, necklaces\, watches\, bracelets).\nAll long hair needs to be pulled back and tied up (for both men and women).\n\n\nPlease read through this Kitchen Volunteer Safety Checklist before attending the outreach.
