DESCRIPTION:On the first and third Sunday of each month\, our Middle School (grades 7-8) and High School (grades 9-12) students will meet with the church in the main sanctuary.  Our hope is that as they experience services with the adults\, it will create a connection with the entire church that will last beyond their time in Youth Ministry.  We encourage students to sit with their families\, friends\, or leaders during the services.

SUMMARY:Youth Family Service
DESCRIPTION:On the first and third Sunday of each month\, our Middle School (grades 7-8) and High School (grades 9-12) students will meet with the church in the main sanctuary.  Our hope is that as they experience services with the adults\, it will create a connection with the entire church that will last beyond their time in Youth Ministry.  We encourage students to sit with their families\, friends\, or leaders during the services.

A beautiful scene\, more fun than you can imagine\, opportunities for deep discussions\, and authentic worship? Check\, Check\, Check! Oh yeah\, and don’t forget the milkshakes. Check! \nThat’s right\, summer camp is back\, and we are ready to safely gather together again and experience one of the most powerful moments in a students life!!!! \nSummer Camp at Forest Home is an experience designed to challenge\, encourage\, and engage students in high school. Each activity during the week is purposefully planned to get you out of your normal routines and challenge you into something more significant\, more adventurous\, and more intentional. Our volunteers strive to keep the teaching relevant and Biblically-based\, and they each look for ways to encourage students to have deep discussions\, prayer\, and quiet times of reflection. We want to nurture your journey with Christ\, and lead you to make your faith your own. \nWe also think campers should have loads of FUN while encountering their Creator\, so we offer tons of options for recreation and outrageous group games. Competitions at the infamous Mud Bowl\, the Giant Swing\, kayaking\, swimming\, the Zip Line\, sand volleyball\, Blobbing\, laser tag\, Zorbing\, campfires (and more!) are sure to create memories that will outlast any SnapChat post.

SUMMARY:OC Rescue Mission | Early Morning Outreach
DESCRIPTION:Join us in the early morning as we serve at the OC Rescue Mission on Wednesday\, July 24th! Orange County Rescue Mission has a number of programs through which they serve the Least\, the Last\, and the Lost. The primary focus of each program is to share the love of Jesus Christ with each man\, woman\, and child who comes to them for a hand up out of homelessness. \nWe will be serving early in the morning at OC Rescue from 5:00am-8:30am. We will be meeting at OC Rescue Mission at 5:00am. We will be serving in their kitchen prepping breakfast and then serving that breakfast to their shelter residents. \nCarpooling is encouraged as OC Rescue’s parking is limited. \n\nDate & Time\nWednesday\, July 24 (Early Morning)\nMeeting at OC Rescue Mission: 5:00am\nVolunteer Window: 5:00am – 8:30am \n\n\nLocation\nOne Hope Drive\nTustin\, CA 92782 \n\nTo sign up\, please email Curtis here.\nSee below for helpful information before joining us in volunteering!\n  \n\n  \n\nServing at the OC Rescue Mission:\n \nKitchen safety video:\n \n\n\nSafety & Attire:\n\nKeep all personal items (i.e.\, bags\, backpacks\, etc.) at home\, work\, or in your cars.\nGood personal hygiene is required (i.e. clean clothing\, no long/artificial fingernails\, open\ncuts/wounds).\nIf you have been sick within the last 24 hours\, you will not be permitted to work around\nfood\, utensils\, and kitchen equipment.\nNo open-toed shoes (i.e. flip-flops\, slippers\, sandals\, high-heels\, wedges\, pumps\, platforms).\nSlip-resistant\, closed-toe shoes or athletic/walking shoes are required.\nNo low-cut or sleeveless shirts (i.e. halters\, mid-drift/cropped\, tank tops).\nNo shorts\, dresses\, or skirts.\nKitchen clothing will be provided upon request (i.e. shirt\, apron).\nNo dangling or long jewelry (i.e. earrings\, necklaces\, watches\, bracelets).\nAll long hair needs to be pulled back and tied up (for both men and women).\n\n\nPlease read through this Kitchen Volunteer Safety Checklist before attending the outreach.
