Deepen friendships with students in your youth group? \nOur Winter Camp is THE place for your 6-8th grade campers to get away from the academic and social pressures and instead focus on their identity in Christ and place in God’s family of believers. During a 3-day weekend of camp running Friday through Sunday\, students will discover who God has made them to be through teaching from God’s Word\, small group discussions\, and relevant worship. \nOf course\, no Winter Camp is complete without the fun! Creative games and interactive team challenges ensure there is never a dull moment. Campers have the freedom to explore the many seasonal recreation options at Forest Home all weekend long. (Hot chocolate at Stagecoach\, Zip lining through the trees\, or Phase Ten by the fireplace\, anyone?) Campers will enjoy living in community\, making new friends\, and creating memories that will give them confidence as they navigate the changes and challenges that middle school so often brings. \n\n\n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:Jr High Bowl-A-Rama Cancer Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Our Jr High is teaming up with the R-Giving-Tree Foundation and Stance Socks to have a fun event that raises money for those battling cancer.  Our goal is to raise over $1000 by taking pledges from family and friends for our Bowl-A-Thon.  Pledges can be made at a flat rate amount\, or a pin total.  We will be bowling for two hours.  Students who raise over $100 will get a special Stance prize pack. \nThe cost for bowling is $20\, and that covers the cost of the lane and shoes.  This will not count towards your fundraising total.  The event will take place on Staurday\, February 22\, from 6:15-8:30 PM.  It will be held at the Lake Forest Lanes (22771 Centre Dr\, Lake Forest\, CA 92630).  Sign up in Room 8 today!!!! \nDOWNLOAD A PLEDGE SHEET\n[divider line_type=”Full Width Line” custom_height=”20″]\n \n\n\n\n\n\nThe R Giving Tree Foundation is a 501© (3) not-for-profit volunteer organization which assist cancer patients and their families with non-medical expenses such as rent\, utilities\, car payments and various other day by day needs. \nWe understand the extreme financial burden of cancer treatment today and believe that these families deserve help in those difficult times.
