DESCRIPTION:Join us on the first Sunday of each month to make and serve food at the Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach.  The Friendship Shelter is an overnight shelter for homeless adults. They provide an environment for their residents to regain self-sufficiency.This is an amazing opportunity for individuals or the whole family to serve our community. We will meet at the church at 4:00 PM and we will carpool to the shelter. The outreach lasts two to three hours.  To sign up email Pastor Nate here\, or call him at the church at 949-362-7475.  After signing up\, Pastor Nate will contact each volunteer prior to the event to coordinate the preparations for the meal.

DESCRIPTION:At Voyage\, we constantly remind Jr. High students that God wants to use them to reach others with the Good News about Jesus Christ.  With this emphasis\, we have a special outreach event planned called OctoBash!  We are encouraging all of our students to join us\, and to invite their friends\, teammates\, neighbors\, and any other 6-8th grade students to a night of wild fun and outreach.  OctoBash is a costume party at the church\, that will feature a Christian punk band\, laser tag in the sanctuary\, the “wrecking ball”\, a crazy obstacle course\, a game truck\, pizza\, and more!  The event culminates with a message sharing the hope of Jesus with the students.  The cost for this event is completely FREE\, so students can invite their friends to have fun and hear the Gospel!  It will take place on Saturday\, October 27\, from 5:00-9:00 PM.  Please sign up in Room 8.
