DESCRIPTION:Mexico Missions Team Trip to Casa Orphanage- The team visits the orphanage monthly and is committed to supporting the children in their spiritual development through a children’s church style format. As time permits\, we also assist in teaching the children basic English and perform repairs at the orphanage. On trip day\, we meet at the CCPH parking lot at 7:45 AM\, leave from Pacific Hills at 8:00 AM sharp\, then car-pool to Casa Hogar Belen orphanage in Tijuana\, MX. SUMMARY:Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection
DESCRIPTION:Get involved in the Christmas season this year in a truly impactful way through Operation Christmas Child! OCC’s mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys\, hygiene items\, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship each shoebox outside the United States to children affected by war\, poverty\, natural disaster\, famine\, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S. It’s an incredible thing to be a part of! \nLike every year\, we’ll be distributing and collecting packed shoeboxes to be used in OCC’s mission. It’s a fun thing to do with friends or family. You could even host a shoebox packing night at your house! Check below for distribution and collection dates. \nThe Church is Distributing empty OCC shoeboxes: October 6th\, 13th\, & 20th. \nPlease Return Your Packed OCC shoeboxes to the Church: October 13th\, 20th\, 27th & November 3rd. \nClick here to see instructions on how to pack a shoebox.
