MOPS is about …
- Celebrating motherhood
- Meeting needs
- Making Connections
- Experiencing God’s love through relationships and resources.
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom – urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms – moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.
Our MOPS community at Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills (CCPH) is one of approximately 4,000 MOPS groups worldwide meeting regularly to celebrate the joys of motherhood as well as to encourage each other through the challenges. We meet two Wednesday mornings a month from 9:00am — 11:30am. While our little ones have fun in our quality childcare program, our MOPS moms receive some relief from the busyness of motherhood while enjoying the blessings of:
- A warm meal in the refreshing company of fellow moms,
- Guest speakers covering a variety of relevant and interesting topics, and
- Creative activities, including crafts, small group discussions and games, and special skills speakers.
In addition to our meetings, we have frequent get-togethers for moms’ nights out, play dates at the park, and special group projects and events.
At CCPH MOPS, you’ll find food to warm your tummy, speakers to touch your heart, and friendships to last a lifetime.
