SURFCASTERS- Learning to follow is the start of skill development. Toddlers are eager, energetic, and curious. Watching from the shore of an ocean of learning takes patience and guidance. Children are encouraged to familiarize themselves with a church environment. They are welcomed with warmth, love and an assortment of toys. Developmental milestones are emphasized throughout activities and playtime. Music and movement, play and age-appropriate learning are the foundation for our surfcasters.

NAVIGATE- For kids 3 – 5 years old, teaching them to navigate is key while encouraging autonomy and independence. In everything from physical coordination to learning biblical concepts, preschoolers are eager to form their own ideas by testing the waters and determining their strengths. These early years are important in forming a biblical approach to viewing the seascape. We welcome preschoolers into a classroom setting that offers a combination of free play and structured learning in order teach concrete facts about Christ and Christian living. 

PIER 19- 4th & 5th graders are undoubtedly ready to cast their nets.  The awareness of who Christ is, and His impact on our lives is an active concept.  They understand that Christian living is about choices.  In this setting, they learn how to practice “fishing for people.”  Through worship, scripture memory games and teaching, their knowledge of TRUTH is strengthened and their skills in sharing the gospel are honed.

4 KNOTS- 4 Knots is about 4 chapters in a child’s life (Kinder, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grades.)  It is about the speed in which they learn, and art of finding answers to challenging questions.  Through the curriculum, teachers demonstrate Christ’s love and acceptance of everyone. The emphasis moves beyond following Christ, and toward sharing the gospel with friends, family, and neighbors. 4 knots is also about securing fundamental knowledge in order to form a grace-filled approach to critical thinking.  Through creative and interactive learning, kids review biblical truths and develop thinking skills that will teach them what following Christ is all about.

SEA JEWELS- Our family room / nursery area is a special place where our most precious jewels are cared for and loved.  This inviting room is located in the children’s area.  Here, parents have the option of supervising babies or toddlers up to 3 years old, while watching a live stream of the Sunday service.  When the transition towards being left in the care of others can be challenging, our family room gives parents a reassuring option.  We share in the view that our babies are precious, valuable, and destined for a great purpose.
